Dog Training Guide ? How To Train A Dog To Be Submissive And Not An Aggressive Dog
Are you being naive as a dog owner by putting total trust in your dog’s behaviour in any social situation? Sometimes even the most docile of dogs can surprise you with behaviour that could only be described as totally out of character. Maybe a sudden show of aggression or domination that is as shocking by the nature of its unexpectedness, as it is stunning to you especially as the dog owner.
There is usually a trigger for this type of behaviour and it is most important as the person responsible for a dog that you are very aware of situations that could present as a challenge to him/her and provoke this kind of response.
Dogs being descended from wolves are pack animals. A dogs behaviour is driven by instinct and no matter how domesticated he/she appears, sometimes a scenario arises whereby, he/she loses that certain element of control over that instinct that has become lessened over time by living in a human environment.
A dog will view you and your family as pack that is just how it appears to him/her. The pecking order will have been established and he/she will be comfortable with the place that is occupied by him/her within your pack.
So how will you know if a dog is about to act aggressively towards you or your family?
The most obvious sign are low grumblings as a first warning and also a change in the way he/she carries the tail. The more erect and curved over the back of a dog the tail is will relate to the level of anger he/she is feeling and is a good indication that he/she is willing to up the amount of aggression shown towards you.
What you must remember is, that whilst this behaviour is intimidating it is very important not to show any weakness or back down as the dog will, in his/her mind have won this situation and have been dominant over you, therefore elevating them to top dog or alpha status.
It is not always practical or safe to have an out and out battle with a dog but, he/she has to realise that any display of this type of behaviour is not acceptable within your pack and you must make sure that you are the dominant one in all situations to make him/her realise this.
For the most part a dog or puppy will live contentedly with you and your family and be very happy in this pack, but, forewarned is forearmed and you should never take his/her good nature for granted.
To this end when a dog becomes a member of your household, everybody must be involved with him/her to an extent that any children have a major part to play in his/her socialisation in dog training so that the dog learns to respect that the children’s status is above him/her in the pack.

express and demonstrate more clearly information that was of help and substance to
others.
Having had no previous Internet knowledge and very limited computer ability this
meant improving online skills was paramount. This also meant achieving the goal that

objective was to be conquered.
Like so many he has faced many trials and tribulations both on and offline in order to

Writing has become a two pronged sword. At one end is the reward that is brought
by being able to offer others beneficial assistance, information, expertise, discoveries,
and experiences through the expression of writing.
Added to that is the overall enjoyment, fulfilment and sense of achievement that can
be found from actually writing articles.
One thing is crystal clear and that is that you can only achieve good things in life by
helping others to overcome their own restrictions, obstacles, and hurdles.
Don’t let the fear of the time it will take to accomplish something stand in
the way of your doing it. The time will pass anyway; we might just as well
put that passing time to the best possible use.
